A Powerful Revival: The 6th IBFEA Annual Conference in Kenya!

✨ A Movement of Faith, Unity, and Evangelism ✨

For the first time in history, the Independent Baptist Fellowship of East Africa (IBFEA) held its Annual Revival Conference beyond Uganda’s borders—landing in Kapenguria, West Pokot, Kenya! From January 20th to 24th, 2025, Baptist churches from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan came together at Makutano Bible Baptist Church for an unforgettable time of worship, teaching, and evangelism.

A Mission Beyond Borders

Since its founding in 2019, IBFEA has been a growing movement—uniting independent Baptist churches while honoring their autonomy. This year, under the leadership of Pastor Naboth Atusasire (IBFEA President) and Pastor Paul (Host, Makutano Bible Baptist Church), the conference expanded its reach, marking a historic moment for Baptist churches across East Africa.

Powerful Preaching & Revival

With dynamic preaching from Dr. Jon Connrup, Pastor Naboth Atusasire, Missionary Eberhard, and others, attendees were reminded of their mission:
➡️ To fulfill the Great Commission – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations!”
➡️ To strengthen church leaders through discipleship and training
➡️ To evangelize the lost and plant more churches in East Africa

160+ Souls Saved Through Evangelism!

The streets of Kapenguria witnessed the power of the Gospel, as IBFEA members engaged in open-air crusades, home visitations, and one-on-one evangelism. Over 160 people gave their lives to Christ—a true testimony of revival!

A Strategic Partnership: IBFEA & GBTF

Alongside IBFEA, the Global Baptist Training Foundation (GBTF) played a key role in equipping national leaders. New GBTF training centers were launched in Kenya, ensuring that pastors and church leaders receive solid biblical training to disciple their own people effectively.

Looking Ahead: Africa Shall Rise!

One Kenyan pastor testified:
“IBFEA started in Uganda, but now, I see it as a light spreading across Africa. This is our time to take the Gospel further!”

As this 6th Annual Conference comes to a close, one thing is clear: this is only the beginning! More churches will be planted, more souls will be saved, and the Gospel will continue to transform East Africa.
